    Top Four?

Lets say Rafa only signs Lucas Neill in January......Would everyone on here be confident enough that the present squad could get a top four finish?
    Dare we believe

I'm not confident we'll make it, about 70%, but I wouldn't be surprised if we finish 5th or 6th.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

A couple of more little runs like the one we have just had will see us OK for 3rd or 4th. I don't expect a sustained challenge from either Bolton or Portsmouth.

I`ll have to say I`ll be surprised if there are 5 teams in the PL better than ours.
We`ll finish in the top four. As long as we keep the home record we can take a couple of games like yesterdays.

Why would there have to be 5 better?

It takes one of Spurs, Portsmouth or Bolton to go on a freak run (say 8 wins in 11) and we'll be in trouble. However, i firmly believe we'll finish 4th, 4 points clear of 5th.

However, that is a disastrous season. The Rafalution is not transpiring.

                  I think we'll finish 3rd comfortably

                    5th or 6th. Comfortably.

3rd or 4th maybe a good cup run
cant expect much more than that

Assuming no horrendous injury crisis, I'll be very surprised if we don't finish in the top 4.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Arsenal are a better side than us, I'd expect them to finish 3rd. I reckon we'll finish 4th but it won't be easy with the likes of Spurs probably pushing us all the way.

Seeing as we were 3rd after excatly half a season - having played everyone once, including the 'hardest away games' thing and a slow start - I don't see any reason to think we will finish outside the Top 4

                              No.

Rafa need to sign up a central midfielder in January. Alonso and Gerrard need to get a rest sometime and they can't get that until Momo is match fit again.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
