          Don't know if anyone is aware of this, I knew he was struggling but I didn't know he was a recovering Cocaine addict, seems he's really struggling at the moment.

            I think it’s the guy who has retweeted it who had the cocaine addiction

            I’ve followed Chris for a while and knew he had some struggles

                Yeah I think Kirkland was addicted to pain killers.

                But he has been pretty good this last year opening up and talking about his struggles. Would like to see us do more with him as a club, its pretty important stuff and a tough demographic to reach out too.

                  Kirkland addiction was/is to pain killers caused by injuries thru his career; he has been off them for over a year now, but its a constant battle.

                  Follow him on Twitter & its tough for him & family, but he is fighting the addiciton

                    Especially with our older squad members some of whom must be on pain killers too. Could also see him mentoring some of the younger squad members on the injury list.
                    We are here for a good time not a long time....
