      He had all the physical qualities to be a great holding midfielder, but seemed to lack the discipline to just sit... In fact that may have been a waste, as he seemed to be most effective at winning the ball in the opposition half. It was a great mix to have Masch and/or Alonso behind, with Momo and Gerrard further forward.

      Can imagine him in a Klopp team. He would have redefined the gegenpress. In fact that entire midfield in a Klopp team

          Should've asked him how he managed to kick the ball straight up in the air and then tackle himself when the ball returned to Earth. Never seen anything like it before or since.
