      I'd forgotten just how good he was, I mean in the first 3 seasons his stats in the league are amazing!

      33 played 24 goals
      24 played 14 goals
      22 played 18 goals

      79 games 56 goals - **** me thats good!

      It's bewildering just how quickly he's fallen from grace, I mean he's turned into a running joke amongst most LFC fans as well as CFC

      Him playing with Suarez would have been he chose not to stay though and I don't think we'll ever see that Fernando Torres again - Shame!

            You can't argue against that record can you. Incredible. Even in that last season when he looked so **** at times....still banged in 18 in 22

                      Amazing shift in psychology here. He was hated at first because we thought we had lost someone who would continue to be great for someone else. Yet he's been so crap since that now there's almost a sense of pity for him. As fans we can look back with the knowledge that we saw the best of him and that his decline makes it all the sweeter.

                      Anger > hatred > apathy > amusement > pity
