Whilst I dont disagree entirely, there's a world of difference between his form with us in his last half season & his subsequent form with the Chavs. He was still getting a goal every other game for us.

I'd take him back for £10m personally. Worth that level of gamble.

He was described as a "ghost" by some sections of the media after the Carling Cup game..........................but I don't believe they were attributing that to his ability to be elusive and hard to spot for our defence.
