Torres got into some cracking positions in the box yesterday. However, he was being asked to play in the wide areas too much.

His mind was sharp though. Think it's ridiculous that he's being criticised. His movement, positioning was there for all to see. Fine, he's lost that explosive spark, but he's not as bad as people are making out.

He doesn't look right either. His strength isn't there and he doesn't look comfortable with the ball. He does do a lot of closing down though, which makes assessing his situation even more bizarre. I've read suggestions that his hamstrings are gone and it's waiting to go any moment, yet he's sprinting countless number of times to make a tackle.
