certainly. still more than capable of tearing premier league defences to shreds beside suarez though. what a partnership they would have made.

I think Rafa brought the best out of him.
          Are we winning?

would liked to have seen him see out the season personally. see if he'd have continued his good form under kenny. each to their own.

I dont think his form under Kenny was worth anywhere near £50m though. By the summer, he might've got ****ter and been worth far less.

possibly, not referring to his fee or anything. just would liked to see him stay for the season. as i say, each to their own.

                  Aye.

Perhaps he can still turn things around to some extent but he'll never ever be as prolific as he was with us.

His best days are behind him and for his sake it would be best if he goes home.

West Ham tried to get him on loan in January. That says it all.

“There are better personal relations and more jokes between the players at Chelsea than at Liverpool, where everything is a lot more serious. Here you don’t have to demonstrate that you are a professional, it’s taken as the minimum,” he said.
“Winning trophies is all they care about here and, for me, the Champions League is the dream, no doubt. After having won the European Championship and the World Cup, it’s the main challenge left.
“Obviously I want to win the Premier League too. It’s one of the great prizes in the game and I honestly think that we will win more than one while I am here.”

Just a couple I found. I am sure if you went through this thread there would be many more.
Unfortunately the jokes are at his expense.

I would have cried* if he ended up at West Ham.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Torres down the left? He's **** enough in his natural position, let alone a different one he's not used to
