Did anyone else notice Neville in the buildup to the Chelsea/Fulham match when they were discussing John Obi Mikel? He said that he'd played with him for 18 months at United. When did this happen? Did Neville let something slip that he shouldn't have done?
Yeah but as far as I know, he was never officially at United, they signed him from Lyn Oslo, he stayed there on loan and then kicked up a fuss when he found out Chelsea wanted to pay him more. He tried to break his contract with United saying he'd been forced into it by Lyn. Eventually it was sorted by Lyn getting 4 million off United and Chelsea ended up paying 12 million to United.
I just thought it was strange that Neville specifically said he'd been at United with him for 18 months, which as far as I know, wasn't correct?

Let's not be bitter, he gave us his best years, some wonderful memories and was one of our greatest ever players. He was finished when he left and got us big hefty fee, the biggest we've ever had, unfortunately, we spent that on Andy Carroll.
Chelsea and Spain striker Fernando Torres reveals he always dreamt more about lifting the Champions League than the World Cup. "I never really thought about winning the World Cup as I thought it was impossible, he said. "It was the only trophy I wanted as a kid, to hold it in my arms, and if we do manage to win it."
Keep dreaming Fernando, you'll never win one if your team keep changing managers twice a season!

And he went where to achieve his CL dream??
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."
It'd be ****ing hell if Chelsea beat us in the FA Cup final.
I wanted them to beat Spurs because I think/thought we have a better chance to beat them. Then I thought, would losing to Chelsea be that much worse than losing to Spurs?
Think we're considered underdogs against either and the presence of Torres will spur us on more

Exactly what I thought. Though typically Spurs have gone to **** just as Chelsea start doing well. But we've a good record against Chelsea in recent times.
