I really don't. He's physically and most importantly mentally shot. He's gone.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostI still believe Brendan Rodgers player management/coaching style could return Torres to one of the best strikers in the league. A front three of:
Sturridge------------Torres----------Suarez

Never going to happen mind

No doubt about it. It's quite sad to watch this once great player lumbering around. Still has the skills but his pace, balance and poise are gone.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostI really don't. He's physically and most importantly mentally shot. He's gone.
He could be making more of an effort on the pitch so I don't feel sorry for him at all, it's just strange watching him play. Like a wounded animal that needs to be put out of his misery.

He looked quite sharp yesterday to be honest, and even the penalty miss was just unlucky.
I don't think he's gone physically, people have been saying the same about Gerrard for a few years now, and look at him today. I think they're both similar types of players that play on inspiration and good mood, I know that sounds funny and makes them seem unprofessional, but I can always tell when Gerrard comes onto the pitch looking all depressed and **** and I know he's gonna have a miserable game. Torres has been like that since day one at Chelsea. But I believe that can still be restored
