Does he regret leaving us? Is he happier earning more money and being in London? Does he care? It's strange.

I am probably in the minority in that after the initial shock and jilted knee jerk hurt, I still felt some kind of afinity with him. Not wanting him to do well for a clear rival, but not being very comfortable with his malaise either.
