Looks even better when you consider between the money we made on Torres and the money we sold Carroll for we ended up 35m in profit.

@TonyBarretTimes: The really mad thing about Chelsea paying £50m for Torres is they didn't have to. His clause didn't kick in until the following summer.

@TonyBarretTimes: Abramovich wanted Torres there and then so agreed to meet the terms of the clause before it was active.
