Yep, individual errors are still costing us.

If Reina hadn't cocked up against City and if Gerrard had scored the penalty against West Brom, we'd be 5 points better off. It'd drive you nuts thinking about it though!

A mate of mine (non-Liverpool fan)only saw the first half of the West Brom game but he can't believe we went on to lose that. Switched over cos he thought it was not a non-event. Completely dumb-founded.

Personally I really see us building something good here, although there is still work to do. But we have progressed a lot during the season game wise, although results are still missing somewhat. Confidence will come the more games we play like this, and IMO we havn't really played many poor games in the league since December... We have outplayed, or at least played as well, as our opponents, we just lack a bit of cynicism to close up the games and really finish our many many chances.

As someone posted in another thread, we are the first team in the big-5 leagues in Europe to have 500 shots at goal, and then to me it actually says more about our strikers / midfielders ability to finish chances than our philosophy to be wrong.

I don't really understand the anger some have built up to have towards Rodgers after less than a season in charge, he is doing his job decently according to my expectations, although the domestic cups have been a dissapointment. And Rodgers + Ayre really should get applauds for getting a lot of crap of our wage bill and getting in Sturridge, Coutinho, Borini and Allen, all youngsters with a lot of potential! Borini been very unlucky so far though
Too many monkeys in our fanbase these days who don't have any vision but just swing from match to match

Were going to have a very strong finish to the season

We're going to win 10-0 with this team. Can you imagine if we had Mascherano back?

            We'd still win 10-0?

lets hope so, but we all need to take things steady. we have had good wins before, then rolled over next game completely forgetting how to play and finish a game.

lets hope the lads take some encouragement from this and it brings results to match the performances
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Rolled over? With regular 60% possession and upwards of 20 shots per game.

There have been about 3 or 4 dreadful performances where we've simply not turned up. But in the vast majority of games that we've not won, we have completely dominated and ended up shooting ourselves in the foot.
                Oh I don't know.

Hand on heart, I can honestly say I I was offered Jose Mourinho to take over from BR and it was up to me I would say no.
This season I have seen some of the best football I have ever seen an LFC team play.
We have our problems, but nothing that can't be sorted in the summer. Exciting times.

We clearly have different definitions of getting rolled over then

Stoke away, Villa at home. Those are two that I'd definitely say we got rolled over. WBA at home, Zenit away... Definitely not.
                      Oh I don't know.

i do understand that we can still play teams off the park, but as nice as this is it wont put points on the board, get us back into CL or potentially win us the league.
all the possession might not be enough to encourage decent players to stay, or others to come on board...

Of course, you're right. It was the 'rolling over' comment I was struggling to understand.

Its the first time since Evans that we have an attack minded manager and must admit I am, on the whole enjoying it.

So what do you suggest Rodgers should be doing then? Forsake possession football and implement a half baked possession football, or forsake it completely? Or maybe, apply a defensive game, score one goal and defend for the rest of the games. Points are more important than a progressive view which will bring success long term. Of course, Baitman.
                              Are we winning?
