Rodgers is great. I think we'll win the league now. I really do.

He absolutely does love the sound of his own voice. At the beginning he talked a really good game but had nothing to back it up. Starting to walk the walk now thoughOriginally posted by RedReet View PostIt was an easy start, he likes the sound of his own voice, he's the David Brent of football etc, etc, etc.

So do I.Originally posted by captainfog View PostHe absolutely does love the sound of his own voice. At the beginning he talked a really good game but had nothing to back it up. Starting to walk the walk now though
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We're surely, after this season's exploits, a massive draw for potentially available players this summer. Sure we'll have to pay the going rate but maybe players like Shaw,Reus etc aren't as far out of our reach as some on here seem to think. As for the manager what's to say? He's doing an immense job and looks more comfortable in the role with each passing week. Our whole position/set up is,I think, the envy of everyone. Happy times. Today's game and the Arsenal cup tie we lost were the first occasions(s) in years we've really shaken off the inferiority complex that's plagued us in big away games in recent times. We genuinely look like we don't give a **** who were playing these days.I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I remember after the Villa game a load of us fans said we never wanted to see that formation again or Gerrard in the deep role. He played exactly the same against Arsenal and done so a few other occasionsOriginally posted by dom9 View PostYep. He's a tinkerer, but he seems to know what he's doing. He trusts the players and they trust him.
Every now and again, it goes wrong, Villa at home for example. But he doesn't hang about with rectifying it.
Takes balls to do that. Love Brendan and have always loved to hear him talk. Class act and a top appointment too.

Astounding! 43 points swing between us and united between last season and this.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostIt's been said before, but with Brendan, you get that feeling that he is 'it'. He knows how we think, how we strive to be as a club. He gets us.
It's incredible to think that we finished 7th last season, and today's team only had one new signing in the starting XI in Simon Mignolet. We're now second. Remarkable stuff.
