Pulis won the divisional one voted for by fellow Prem managers, Rodgers the overall one voted by managers from all four divisions. No wonder Prem managers didn't vote for Rodgers since he handed out drubbings to most of them.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Moyes should be knighted for services to football for putting that shower of **** in 7th

Strange one, but happy that Rodgers got some recognition from the fantastic work this season. Being in contention on the last day with such a small squad is just amazing. Add to that the leap from 7th last season and

The LMA are as antiquated as the PFA, FA and everything else that is wrong with the game. Unfortunately, it just degrades the award to an extent.

All hail the new king of the LMA.

Just saw Hodgson and Rogders on SSN. Interviewing Hodgy on stage about Rodgers and he said "I'm always very impressed with him in press conferences and post match interviews. He always seems to strike the right note. They're positions I find myself and I wish I could do it."

Hodgson took a swipe at a few journos yesterday. Was pissed off that a few of them kept asking the same questions about if he thought the squad was good enough. Typical Hodgson reply.

Things like this really do make me laugh. Do you think that all managers conspire to vote for one person or against another? I dont even know what you mean when you say Cartel.

The managers in the premier league have to one of the most diverse group of coaches we have seen in its history.

Martinez, Pottechitino, Poyet, Rodgers and a couple of others are all fairly straight down the line from what I can see. Its only really Allerdici, Pulis and probably the old Utd boys Hughes and Bruce who I would class as old British traditionalists.

If the league was full of the old lot, Id kind of get your point. But its not really anymore.
                      *Except Michael, who died.

I was as always jesting a bit. But it's still hardly a progressive choice. Martinez or even Pochettino would have been worthy of consideration as their brand of bold football and where they finished in the league were probably as much achievements as what Pulis did. There's undoubtedly an element of protectionism at the LMA.

To be fair he took a team of hopeless schoolboys and got them to play to their strengths and win against some of the best in the league and in the process, secure safety when most were tipping them for humiliation.

I don't think he deserves it more than Rodgers but he's still deserving of recognition for his managerial talents.

So BR got the main award!?

But i still don't get it, has this always been the case with these awards, and why..if it has; have we not heard **** about another award when DBF kept winning LMA manager of the year?

Or did he win them both all the time?!
