When considering him as a manager I think back to the criticism Rafa had of him as a player that he plays too much with his heart and not enough with his head. While his game did get more 'intelligent' later in his career he always had that reactionary side to him, which IMO doesn't really work well as a manager these days.
Because of the difference in their approaches and both moving into coaching at similar times I always compared him and Xabi Alonso and have long been of the opinion that Alonso's approach would be more suited to management, maybe that will change in time but I think at the moment it is holding up.
Did I read it right somewhere that Steven has declared his involvement in this year's Legends game?... I thought that the squad was a little light in midfield with Jay Spearing, Mark Gonzalez, Maxi Rodriguez, and Momo Sissoko.
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
