    Or Everton/Villa

We should be able to get a fee for the lad.

Just thinking here, I know it's harmful in large doses, but is there anyway that a loan, like in this instance is a way to prevent him showing up as a loss in the books? If we sold him now our accounting would show him to be a loss but if we loan him he'll just be our assett in Spain, maybe bringing in a bit of a loan fee and with them paying the wages.

Just trying to get my head around accounting and amortistation.

No......Aspas is like a disease, infecting others around him with his corner kick expertise. Best to cut it out, regardless of the impact to the surrounding tissue.

If he goes on loan, I can see him having a decent season in Spain and hopefully we'll make the majority of our money back on him next year.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

personally - if he goes on loan to sevilla for the season - i'd be shocked if he scored more than 6 goals next season.

then a year later we'd be trying to find someone else to take him.

Haha, think we are overly harsh on him here.

              Time will tell I guess.

I also think he's a slightly better player than most on here assume. I think he'll do ok for them. This league just didn't seem to suite him and I got the impression the move was just too big for him.

Remember how good he looked in pre-season

I still think he had something about him - he excelled against Utd at the beginning of the season.

However after being repeatedly ignored by Studge in the first few games even when in good goal scoring positions, I think his confidence dipped and a more general malaise set in to his play.

no - i thought he looked ****ing ****e then as well

i also don't think we are too harsh on him

he was **** before we signed

                        **** whilst here

                        and he'll be **** when he's gone.

nothing against the lad - and when i say **** - i understand he must have some ability otherwise he'd never have made it

but other than two seasons - one in the Segunda which is ****, and one in La Liga where he somehow blagged 12 goals - he's never ever done anything before or since to suggest he is anything other than ****.

David Ngog was better than him - at least with Ngog he cost next to nothing, he was a kid, he had shown potential with the french u21 side - it was a gamble.

Aspas just baffles me more than any other transfer has ever baffled me. I just can't see why on earth we signed him.

These option/buy if plays a certain amount deals always turns out great for us. Have we ever profited on one of these clauses?

Aspas gone which is a result, now let's get a quality forward in who can actually contribute something
