I think that the loan move was a brilliant move by the club in the end. By the summer, he will have turned from a bad egg that was banished to the reserves to a class defender approaching his peak years - and one that is the difference between getting relegated and staying up.Originally posted by Darkon View PostAccording to the echo we will be demanding £30m for Sakho this summer with Southampton and Napoli already having expressed some interest.

LFC will be in a great position to get up to 25 / 30m for Sakho. If we are negotiating with Southampton for instance, if they got 8m for a 33 year old Fonte, then it is 28m for Sakho. And they may well pay it when you consider that they will be looking to get 45/50m for VVD.
I still think that Sakho could make a return. It is likely that he will want to assess his options anyway before joining a club like Palace or Southampton (Arsenal, Spurs or Man City could all come in for him in the summer - i think he would get into the City or Arsenal team right now) but if he comes back for pre-season and Klopp sees a different player - a professional player - then the only reason he wouldn't get a chance i think would be the fact that we have already signed a new CB.

You're not wrong!Originally posted by RichC View PostRate Zouma good defender and has some pace as well. They'll want a chunk of money for him I guess but under Conte can see them more amenable to doing business with us than under Maureen

Love Sakho, gutted Klopp has ****ed him off but he's clearly a bad influence even if he is a talent.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
