Only 21, can't believe people are writing him off after one season.

Have to admit though he's not the player I was expecting when we signed him, but he does remind me a bit of Pires, who also took time to adjust.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Really? The impatient nature of our support is displayed on a daily basis around here.

Fair point, Sterling was apparently done before he turned 18 so Markovic should count himself lucky.

            Cheers Mostar.

Dare I say it, some of those finishes are a bit... Saurezesque?

To be fair to him Sterling was 18. Markovic is 21. Theres a few things in his game that bug me. Like whenever he loses the ball he'll either fall over or stumble some and then look confused while the other guy has run off with his ball. He runs into people more often then he goes around them.

Now if he can improve then fine. Loan him off till he improves. We cant afford to keep playing him until he possibly comes good. Lack of performances on the pitch makes a big contribution to lack of points. At least hes 21 so I wont go completely writing him off as a pointless signing like I did with Alberto and Aspas. Completely useless.

I guess you're quite happy we've signed Firmino now?

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this but he's played 33 out of 34 games for Hoffenheim for the past three seasons.

I remember you advocating this signing for nearly 2 years mate.

He better work out. Loads of pressure on you on this one

                        Sign Volland now!

You'd have a great partnership between two forwards and a partnership between two creators - Coutinho/Firmino

Why are they really bothering with a medical when hes playing in a tournament. Half broken people wouldnt be in the teams.

Yea they would, as long as they aren't currently injured.

Medicals are looking at more longer lasting things, and heart/other organs

To maybe find some underlying problems, that can be supervised correctly, and his training/fitness regimes can be properly put together?
