Not a single post on here tells a tale. He was off his game yesterday and was really sloppy with his passes.
Yesterday was just a game too far for some of the lads. They'd given everything in this campaign but lacked some quality around them. We're a bit close to the world cup and I wonder if yesterday had been different if the wprld cup wasn't looming closeComment

His touches were off early on, but still looked sharp enough in terms of positioning. Once Salah went off, he dropped way too deep, and then Real bodies were near him. Wasn't tiredness. He was just too relaxed like some of our other players. In order to stay calm we might have gone too far the other way. He misplaced more passes in this one game than he had done for months. But when fate conspires against you (Karius, Salah, Bale) then you weren't going to win anyway. Just ask Milan in 2005.
But if there is balance in the universe then Bobby will be scoring the goal that flukes us a league title next season.One tit for another.
