    Can he get banned retrospect?

You can bet that mourinho will be putting in a massive january bid for vertoghen now, the guy can spot gouging talent a mile away.
Jose said " i like the boy, he has talent and i can help to improve his technique"
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I don't think that he intentionally went for the eye but the way his second arm came across Firmino was not a natural movement, so I think he intended having a go at him
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Firmino says his eye is ok and it was just a scare

Spurs had Dembele banned for 6 games for an eye gouge a couple of years ago, but that was in a scuffle so could easily be deemed deliberate, I suspect that this might be deemed an accident (or at least more difficult to be deemed otherwise), but the FA need to investigate it anyway IMO, as the referee gave nothing against Spurs for the incident I believe the FA can look into it

Great news. Momo was never the same after the eye injury.

When you've got your hands/arms up that high it's a cowardly way to play the game. Dembele is the worst at that (during play, let alone what you mentioned!). Surprised he hasn't been called out for it yet.

Remember a GP telling me that the eyeball heals miraculously quick when scratched compared to the rest of the body. He’ll be fine. Get him some Momo Sissoko goggles

**** him and **** spurs. They're going to plummet down the league when all their money is being spent on their ground.

Ignoring the eye, Bobby was very good today. Spurs tried to crowd the middle, but time and time again, Bobby took the ball under pressure in midfield and kept possession for us.

Such a wonderfully **** goal too.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                            Fantastic play from him.

He's ****ing brilliant. People go on about Kane and Aguero.....I wouldn't swap Bobby for any striker in the league. He scores loads of goals but he is like Ian ****in Rush with his work rate..... especially off the ball. Sturridge comes on and looked like he was knackered compared to a fella that went off after running himself into the ground for 70 minutes...

Here's a hypothetical.......if Barca offered a part ex with Suarez coming back, would you take it??? Don't think I would.

I don't think it's even close now. Bobby is only just entering his prime.
