It would surely make sense to have his medical in Liverpool given that's where he'll be playing and where the publicity interviews and got awful interview will take place unless we think he may fail it? Strange that we'd consider flying someone out to Brazil to conduct what should be a routine procedure

Why would it be hard to understand. He's just finished his season and he might be spending it with his family so it makes sense to inconvenience him as little as possible.
