I'll admit at the start of the season I was concerned about not having a proper out and out forward, but Firmino's record of goals and assists is as good as anyone and the closing down and work rate make him one of the first names on the teamsheet and rightly so

I think the big difference is having similar players around him so he is part of a functional unit.

Firmino has been very good over the last couple of months. Hope this consistency continues (last season, he was our best player up to Christmas 16! He then turned to muck). Best to judge him at the end of the season.

I honestly think he is raising the games of those around him like Salah, Mane and Coutinho. He puts a shift like a grafter yet has the touch of a proper footballer.

Should have scored just before half time and so close with a header from a TAA cross. He deserves a hattrick for sure.

My only concern is his state of mind when Coutinho leaves. They have a great friendship off the pitch and a solid understanding on the pitch, let's hope Keita likes fashion!
