    What the **** is FIFA going to do? deregister the players??

    Not a chance this ban would hold up in court seeing as its a Covid red zone and the club is the one paying their wages.

      It would be fielding an ineligible player/players which is punishable by overturning results or points deductions. Admittedly that has to be enforced by the FA/PL but they are spineless when it comes to looking after clubs interests so would almost certainly roll over for FIFA.
      The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

          If the clubs impacted by this were to all take a stance and play the players then it'd be very interesting.

                  Yeah but who's saying they are ineligible? We're the ones paying their astronomical wages. If we don't want them going off to some Covid ravaged country to play a useless international game and then come back to quarantine for another 2 weeks then we're well within our grounds to say no. This is a totally different situation to just stopping them going with a fake injury, like Ginsoak used to do.

                  Its not just a club thing its a political thing too, the UK gov gave us no choice stopping them playing.

                    Also the fact they're letting Richarlicunt play for Everton based on a "good relationship" completely throws their argument against the other clubs out the window

                    That just shows it's all based on spite....and that's not going to hold up if the affected clubs band together and take this to court. They won't have a leg to stand on.
