But there is a difference between what Ings and a fit Sturridge brings. Away to stoke you are always going to go cautious. We won, sets up similar and we win at home and then get a good performance away at Arsenal. Can't blame him for expecting the players to get a result at home to west ham. It's only 4 games in. I can't see him not playing the two together when available.

this is what i've been saying since the start of the season. When you use the likes of Milner and Henderson is these deep work horses roles, you sacrifice their natural game.. which is progressive and productive. These two players have notched up a lot of assists over the last few season between them, both have great delivery and can pick a pass but yet Rodgers has stifled them by playing both so deep.

Same goes for Can, he's a naturally progressive player, the essence of a box to box midfielder bursting forward and then coming back to make tackles, not hat Can should be a starter or anything. Sure the thing is, we aren't suited or setup to play with a box to box midfielder anyways so what is he in our team? Something has to give in that midfield. There needs to be a setup that plays to players strengths and not this square pegs in round holes bull****. We have players in our squad that have the ability to bring Benteke into the game and provide him with abundant service.. but they are being stifled by Rodgers.
