Few times yesterday he brought down the ball and had acres of space to run into and he didn't quite know what to do I do like him and you can see there's a good player in there, he just needs to do a bit more still. Happy with him dropping deep to link play now and again but we need him further towards goal, and everyone else (Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino etc) further towards goal to really hurt teams. We did start to do that in the 2nd half yesterday which was promising.

One way to get the big to pull a muscle....leave him up top for a number of games running around on his own trying to get into the game.
If play two up, get runners close to him and get service from the wide areas like a normal team!... Imo he ll be a huge asset and not a big chess piece we arw currently making him.Comment

Every Rodgers system that has even looked close to working has thrived on pacey players with energy. Benteke isn't that. Big Chris would be great in that 433 Rodgers is obsessed with making work.
But Brendan can't make that work, so it'll be Ings & Sturridge starting and Chris on the bench before long. That said, not sure Rodgers could even be allowed to admit defeat on this one. He will try and force him to work like he has done with Allen, Lallana & LovrenForwards.......Comment
