His YouTube compilation shows a couple of one v ones so I don't believe this. He's a £30m striker so being **** at running past a keeper and slotting home makes me very uncomfortable.

I dont care what his youtube video says .. he is not a one on one striker and that does not make him a bad striker or any less of a 30 million striker ... give him appropriate service and he will score goals ... I'll take that everyday of the week

It's an issue if a **** load of his chances are one on one.

Hes missed 2, I think taking his performances in balance .. the fact he missed two one on ones when both games were all but put to bed in extra time .. is not as central as his abilty to bag two difficult match winning goals in ultra tight closed off defensive games

If he has those chances when the game is in the balance it will cost us.

Sturridge and probably Ings when clean through look more composed and clinical than big Chris has done for us in those situations.

I am very happy hes at the club .. I don't get why hes not getting much love I think its because he played for Villa so he cant be any good .. he is perfect for games like last night and he is not always going to play ... I dont think he is our Number 1 striker at this moment in time, but he easily could be or just a very good option.

All that said I will bow down to Carra's superior knowledge .. still if he was to go I would not let him for for a penny less than 25 million all up front otherwise I would be very happy for him to stay at the club for at least 3 years

We've been spoilt with the strikers we've seen over the years leading the line for us. Recent times Torres at his most prolific, Suarez who is arguably the best striker in the world and Sturridge who when fit is the best British striker.
Big Chris has a difficult task to live up to those names and IMO he's not worth the 32 mil we paid.
