You can get away with a few confidence players in your team, but I mentioned it in the summer when we signed him, he needs to get over that and adjust to the mentality of playing for Liverpool. He hasn't, and that's why the move hasn't worked out.

We've got too many 'confidence' players, and not enough players who offer stable performances of at least 6 or 7 out of 10 every week.

Well, he was fairly easily handled by league 2 defenders. Missed a header from about a yard (had to score). And looked as bereft of form, ability or ideas as ever.

He'll bang in the odd worldie, but he does little else.

He could be a real player but he's not displaying his strength, FFS you'd go into a game with the mentality that you were going to destroy everyone you play against.

I'm not a pro but any time I go into a game I go in with the mentality that I am going to smash **** out of anyone I come up against and I'm nowhere near the build of Benteke. I find it crazy that someone as strong as him seems incapable of doing that or going into a game with a positive mindset.

Not just benteke that we've wasted money on though. Changing the manager alone won't resolve the problem if the committee is left to continue.

There was a bit in the second half where a vicious cross came in. Cant recall who did it, maybe Kent before he went off. But in the slow motion replay from the other side view you can see 2 liverpool players moving towards it and closest to the screen is Benteke who is basically a statue. I'm pretty much over him. Wasnt too pleased with him coming, but really hope he leaves come end season. If that had been Suarez for example he would of taken the 2 steps he needed to head that goal in near the post since it passed everyone. 2 steps. I dont understand it. Lazy is what it is.
