But these last few games are feeble. We can't even shoot properly. At pretty much any other top club in the world he would be sacked. But if you exclude twitter and Facebook I'm pretty sure most fans want him to succeed and prosper. That says alot about our fans. Every single one of us owes him for giving us what we desired. But if you keep losing and your players aren't responding to your commands, tactics, hugs whatever, you eventually have two choices either sack the manager or the team. What's more likely?
    The team

It’s ****ing **** though isn’t it. Waited ages for us to be boss, and I genuinely thought it was a dynasty being built. Start of the year I thought we were easily retaining the title. Then this nightmare.

We don’t have any leaders, whereas the last few years we had a team of them. I guess it’s easier to lead when you’re winning. I’m sure Klopp is finding out a lot about this team currently.

That's the hope I'm going to cling to. Just one competition to fully focus on next season. **** the corrupt FA Cup and the other pisspot.

Even with Mane and Salah at Afcon we should be able to manage one game a week.

But then throw into the mix the horrific injuries, our bad season becomes an awful one. And that's where we are. No more complicated than an off season compounded by injury.

If we are going miss the champions League spots, and we are, then the smart move would be to keep the squad fresh, give the champs league a whirl, though we will come up short, and then rest everyone for a while. Id rather we had no Europe next year than miserable Europa.

That's what I'm saying. It's not like it's in isolation, city didn't have this level of injuries to contend with, so it makes sense we are awful.

          I hate it though obviously

It’s not that complicated. He should have managed our injury situation better, and in the real world, if these results continue for much longer then he will be out of the job. I think he’s a great manager and want him to stay for as long as possible.

That's the situation as I see it too, getting rid of him would be madness and doesn't achieve anything, it's not going to make us anymore likely to qualify for the CL so is pointless aside from anything else. Next season he has to turn it around and get us challenging again and at least making the top 4.

That said I do worry that if this **** run of form isn't turned around before the end of the season he might decide himself to leave in the summer.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think we need to cut out the conspiracy theories on Covid and caffeine. It's proper tinfoil hat stuff that we're somehow suffering the affects more than anyone else.

Yeah i wasn't posting it as an excuse just for Liverpool, more to highlight the impact on sport in general. That said, without doubt football has been massively impacted by COVID

It definitely isn't going to happen but how good would it be to start next season on fire and blow everyone away. Literally get back in the groove and walk it. Imagine the utd fans faces after writing us off. It would take a ****ing miracle of epic parting the seas proportions though. But this season is like no other I've ever known so maybe it's written in the stars.

It'd be lovely mate! The problem is we've put off the rebuild process and it's all come down like a house of cards during a pandemic and injury crisis.

I'd love nothing more than for Bobby to get his mojo back, Mane to regain his form and Robertson and Trent to hit 15+ assists each again. But I fear this team has come to the end of its time and we'll need to add fresh legs and minds to reach the levels of last season again.

Again i think lack of fans has been very telling on LFC but that doesn't excuse the really poor form, but as you said....new season fans back could be key....a break for the players would have been nice but we have the euros

Every team has missed their fans. But I don't think we'd have lost 6 on the bounce with them. I think the players would have been urged to go forwards with the constant ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK that would have been reverberating around the ground by now. Now we are in a slump, confidence shot, how do you get that extra energy in a glorified practice match.

Everyone seems lost and it’s to the manager they all look to .. But he’s seems lost as the players do .. which makes it all the more worrying.
