Thanjk you.

It looks like the penny had finally dropped that fsg needed to get an experienced manager in if we wanted to succeed. I'm hoping that with this new approach they also now realise the need to get more experienced players closer to the finished article rather than just potential all the time.
This is a fantastic start so let's build something amazing here. We have a new stand on the way, a new manager so now let's go get 2 or 3 top top class players and get CL football back.
This is the first step imo on our road to recovery. It's taken 5 years but fsg appear to have woken up.
I've not felt this positive in years about LFC going forward. Yes 13/14 was amazing it this feels like the start of something more sustainable.
Thinking about this quite a lot, but perhaps the biggest thing Jurgen will do for football, is remind us it is a game, and that games are meant to be fun. Football has become so po faced and corporate that seeing Klopp laugh, and lark about a bit seems completely alien.
It really shouldn't be.
He is going to be a welcome breath of fresh air, and hopefully he will put a smile back on the face of a game typically mired in scandal and finance.
Yeah hopefully, i'm looking forward to the January window. Would have been brilliant to have Klopp here during that summer window. I'm very positive about things but it is a real baptism of fire with the fixture list. If we can get through them with a reasonable points tally and find the way he wants us to play... then it could be a brilliant second half to the season.

I'm wondering IF Klopp had already spoken to the club in the summer and agreed to take over but only after taking some time off? He spoke yesterday about never having Money to spend to go on holiday with his family and then when he had the money he didn't have the time.
We signed Benteke and Firmino who coincidently sounded like previous transfer targets for Klopp.

Maybe, it's hard to know. I just would have been really curious to know who would have came in and who would have went out. Coming in now with the team playing the way it has & with the horrible fixture list.... it really is a tough start for him. I'd love to be a fly on the wall with the first meeting he has with the players. I bet it will be epic.

Definitely something in that. He either agreed to join next summer or if it all went tits up a bit earlier.

I heard from decent sources that Brendan was dead man walking in the summer and FSG had begun the hunt for a new manager, contacting Klopp as one of the prime candidates. I think they didn't really want to sack Brendan and be seen as a sacking club, so they called his bluff. Got rid of Pascoe and his mates in the back room hoping maybe he'd follow suit as his support network was taken away, he didn't and remained steadfast. With the season starting as it did, it gave FSG the wiggle room to say, look this isn't working, you said judge me in 3 years, thanks for 13/14 but its all gone a bit boobs up, so see ya!
Either way Klopp is here and I've not wiped the smile off my face. I work in broadcasting, with a lot of Man U fans. Seeing the strained delivery of Klopp's arrival on news bulletins was hilarious. They hate we've got a superstar, top class gaffer now

The mancs are now trying to convince themselves Klopp is overrated and the German league is ****e. It's hilarious.
Footage from Dortmund's 2012 season. The movement and pace is amazing.
Lovely stuff. Note the only time they choose to shoot from outside the area is when the opposition defence has been pulled out of position or when the keeper's come off his line and they've laid it onto a runner
