The injuries are undeniably a big part of that.

Even if the owners wanted change. We cant afford to pay him off or pay the compo for a new manager.

So you want reasons other than two things that are actual reasons?

How about fatigue? Both mental and physical? Team has been running on fumes since the end of last season, and this season they seem to have hit a brick wall trying to compensate for those that are missing.

How about the effect of two seasons of all out mental and physical effort at the highest level taking a toll.

How about it being just the perfect storm of on and off pitch issues being compounded by what is going on in the world and various personal issues and personal losses.

Could be all those things. Could be a few players not giving a **** as they know they are off or probably off come the summer.

What have injuries go to do with the team being so **** and feeble ? We still have top players out there ! Where is the passion from the players ? Where is the style of play ? Yes we have injuries but that doesn’t excuse the fact the team is playing absolutely ****

Jaco’s just giving a list of other factors, without mentioning injuries.

Three of the four in our backline are probably of Championship standard.

Wijnaldum plays like a man who is thinking about his next club, which may well be the case.

35 year old James Milner plays like a 35 year old would.

Shaqiri is a decent player but not a top player.

That's six from our starting eleven so far that are not top players and I have not touched Keita or said that Jota may or may not become a top player in time.

So now that is eight from our starting XI.

So basically today in that proven top player bracket we have Alisson, Robertson and Salah.

You directly asked people for what they thought might be reasons, and when you get replies you just dismiss what people say without offering anything of your own.

I'm worried that Klopp might decide it's best for LFC to resign once we are inevitably knocked out of the CL in the next round.

I hope not, I can't think of any better manager to take us forward next season with our budget, compared to the corrupt clubs.

Would not surprise me. He seems like the sort of guy that would rather fall on his own sword.

They'd be mad to sack him.

I do not think the man quits easy on anything tbh. My gut feeling is he will go into next season with a point to prove, and anyone that does not want to be along with him for the ride will be moved on or phased out.
