It's stupid because we haven't won anything yet. Rodgers nearly won us the league and we all thought he was the one. So yeah, it's stupid to consider him like the messiah at this stage. It's all good to have hope though. Hope makes us live.Are we winning?Comment

Was thinking earlier that I don't loose confidence now when we go behind & this quote confirms just how bad we were prior to Klopps arrival.Klopp made a point of bemoaning the sloppiness that had cost his team a deficit after 41 seconds, though even from that setback Liverpool will draw heart. This team used to be virtually condemned once behind. From the start of last season to Brendan Rodgers’ dismissal, they trailed in 29 matches and recovered to win only four and draw five. The other 20 were lost, including nine of the last 10 under the previous manager when the team slipped into arrears. Under the German, Liverpool have fallen behind five times in 11 matches but went on to beat Chelsea, Bordeaux and Southampton, and draw with Rubin Kazan. “We could enjoy the second half of the Southampton game on the bench, not because the game was finished but because the players never lost concentration and did what they had to do until the end. You could see the body language of the Southampton players change, not my side. That is a good sign.
“You can’t always play with a miserable face – OK, that’s how I play tennis but that’s my problem. I don’t expect someone to go into a one-on-one situation with a big smile on their face but it’s important to be able to enjoy what you are doing.

You can't accuse Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp of failing to see the bigger picture.
Last month on the day after Liverpool's Europa League win against Rubin Kazan in Russia and gruelling 4,000-mile round-trip, the German's post-team meeting was all about matters off the pitch, report the report the Liverpool Echo .
Klopp sat down to talk with Andrea Cooper, the head of LFC Foundation, which delivers club's community programmes both across Merseyside and around the world.
Ms Cooper explained the challenges in Liverpool in health and other areas which the Foundation’s work seeks to help and found a willing ally in the Reds’ new manager.
And he not only promised to get involved himself but brought her in front of the whole Liverpool squad as he stressed the importance of the players’ responsibilities to the whole city.
Ms Cooper told the ECHO: “I spoke with Jurgen about the work we do as the LFC Foundation and he said he would do all he could to help us which was fantastic to hear.
“But then he also gathered all the players together to hear about our work and spoke to them himself first.
“He told them that their first responsibility as Liverpool players would always be to win games and win trophies. But he told them that after that they also had a responsibility to the community and city as a whole.
“We were hoping that maybe half the players might get involved in our LFC Foundation day but the whole squad ended up wanting to be involved which is just great.”
It has resulted in an incredible selection of “money can’t buy” auction experiences involving the Liverpool players and their manager which bids are now being submitted for.
Klopp was as good as his word and a special raffle is being held (tickets £5) to win the chance for an “ultimate match day experience and dinner” with the manager for up to six people at either your own home or at the London Carriage Works restaurant.
You can bid to have a traditional Brazilian meal with Reds trio Lucas, Coutinho and Firmino or dine with Emre Can and Dejan Lovren at Liverpool’s highest restaurant, Panoramic 34.
James Milner is offering to play a round of golf with two fans, while Lucas Leiva and Martin Skrtel will come and give training tips to your team or you can watch Home Alone at Liverpool Philharmonic with Nathaniel Clyne, Jordon Ibe and Joe Gomez.
Fans can bid to watch a match in Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana’s private box, or play table tennis with Alberto Moreno and Joao Teixeira.
There are loads more special events to bid for and all the money raised will go to support the work of the Foundation which has its own day at Anfield for the West Brom game on December 13, which is also when the auction ends.
All the money raised will support the Foundation’s community programmes, including its men’s health programme, military veterans programme, and football development programmes such as Respect 4 All, which provides sporting activity for young people and adults with severe physical and neurological impairments.
