Hardly any players are making a case for themselves. A few are showing glimpses but mainly I'd imagine he'll listen to offers for almost everyone and end up getting rid of a lot of first tea ers. If he can get a bit of luck in the market then we could be in reasonable shape, but we need strengthening right through the team.

Klopp just does not strike me as a man who walks away from a challenge, personally I think he absolutely relishes the task at hand. He has said himself that he wants to make players better rather than buy all round him.

I also have no doubt that he will be ruthless and we'll be a very different side - personel, mentality and physicality in 18 months time. If he gets the same backing as Rodgers he will be more than happy and I for one am intrigued to see how we develop under him.

He'll have to take hope from Leicester, £22m for the starting 11 in total. Ranieri's shown its possible to compete in this league without the riches, all you need is plenty of pace and strikers that can score goals.
