Win games here and there but when the going gets tough and the pressure is on, the arse drops out of us and we bottle it. Wholesale changes please Mr.Klopp.
So playing UTD off the park means wholesale changes? Firminio, Sturridge, Lucas, Lallana, Milner, Can, Sakho and Clyne all need selling as well?

Come on Dan, I know a loss can mean a bit of negative thinking, but that's a bit low don't you think?

We didn't bottle it against Utd, and the defence has been solid until half time on Sunday. The squad needs strengthening for sure not overhauled, but it was one bad result after a decent run, and also after a high pressure Euro game. The capitulation can pretty much be blamed on a bad sub, and a guy who had a mare... He just happens to be your favourite player

I'd imagine Klopp learnt a lot on Sunday, and he definitely made a mistake in subbing Marty on.

You can take certain games in isolation lads if you want, the bigger picture throughout the whole season is that we need several new players & need to get rid of several current players. GK, CB, LB, CM, CF. There are too many weak links and meek players out there.

Skrtel had an absolute nightmare, that was evident. He's was a mess, positionally **** and lost the aerial duels. Do I think we lost totally because of him? No, a snowballs chance in hell. The first goal was Sakho's fault, Benteke missed sitters, Allen missed one v one, the midfield completely disappeared in the second half when Southampton actually decided to start playing.

People can bring it back to Skrtel and that's fair enough, he was an abomination but let's not pretend that one player can make the other 10 stop playing. The game should have been done and dusted in the first half & we had chances in the second too.

"IF" the whole team capitulated because of one player, then we have a serious ****ing problem at LFC.

If we upgrade on Skrtel, Mignolet (I'd keep him as no 2 though and have him challenge for the shirt) and Bentekkers whilst adding the likes of Goetze and the fellas we've already got coming in I think we will be moving in the right direction.

I'd also chuck a fair bit of wedge and some unwanted players at someone like Kante. Would Leicester take Tekkers in exchange for Kante?

It was done and dusted in the first half though? The cold statistics are, we had let 3 goals in over 8.5 matches, or 765 mins, including a tough Europa tie and a cup final. That's to half time on Sunday. That's us finally finding form

Skrtel comes on at 2 nil up and gives a pen away (that is missed) chaos ensues and all of a sudden the defence ship 3 goals. I dunno what other evidence is really required? But if ever there was a case of an entire team capitulating because of one player, then this is it. Skrtel, much as Benteke, doesn't know how to play in the system that he has been told.
