I think Klopp has a lot to prove in the PL. We didn't really put together a better run under him than Rodgers and that felt very much like a slump. I really hope that this summers squad remodelling allows him to implement his ideas better but I do worry that this is premature.

This is clearly to get the club "sale-ready"

Does it really add that/much anything to the club to an incoming owner? Certainly it would increase Klopp's pay off if the owners (old or new) wanted to sack him.

It seems equally possible that this is a reaction to Brexit. We clearly have no information on the motivation or even the details of the negotiation.

My theory is that it will stave off interest from top clubs that have brought in new managers and might look to poach Klopp if things don't turn out well..

Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea to name a few.

So Klopp has signed a new deal, what an excellent move by the club. Best news of the summer.

                  Amazing stuff

Clearly he loves us as much as we love him (Contractually)

Now, tie Emre Can down to a 20 year deal!

Not sure what difference it makes, but

It's hard not to be ecstatic with this, OK it's not Lagerback/Hallgrimsson but Klopp is the best we can get.

Six-year deal, outstanding work by the owners. Shows a real commitment in Klopp and Klopp in us.
