There aren't many managers that could say they'll retire in 10 years and it worries me he'll be leaving so soon

saw a couple of great stats over the weekend.

Since Klopp came no team has scored more away goals than Liverpool and we have gained the most points from a losing position.

Love the spirit in this team.

Jurgen Klopp says he has no time to celebrate his one-year anniversary at Liverpool this week, insisting: “I’m not in the mood for reflection.”

The Anfield boss reaches his one-year landmark on October 8, having helped his side become genuine title contenders this season since replacing Brendan Rodgers in the Reds dugout.

The Reds hierarchy have moved quickly to pin Klopp down to a new six-year deal at Anfield after being impressed by his opening year, with the German guiding the club to the finals of the League Cup and Europa Cup.

The German manager insists he’s enjoyed his first year in charge but intends to remain on Merseyside “for the long term”.

And, despite an impressive start to life in charge of the Reds, Klopp is refusing to get carried away.

He said: “I have no time and I am not in the mood for reflection, to be honest.

“It’s a year, I’m a year older and all this s**t, but everything else is good. Not perfect, but in a good way. That’s what we hoped, that’s what we said.”

Klopp on adapting to the Premier League

Jurgen Klopp: Wants players to take the credit
After he took over critics were quick to question whether Klopp could adapt to life in the Premier League.

But the 49-year-old added: “There was doubt, there was a lot of rumour around me. People said ‘obviously he was a good coach at Dortmund but a German managing here doesn’t work’ – things like this. That’s better now.

“The thing is, I’m not here for a year, I’m here hopefully for the long term, and it means that we have to use all the information we have until now and learn from it.

“That’s how life works, collecting experience, learning from it and being ready for the next challenge.

“My year is what, the 8th of October, yes? We will not celebrate, I can tell you that! Hopefully nobody brings me a cake,” Klopp joked, referring to the unusual birthday one he received earlier this year.

He is old school. Remember him back in the day when there used to be this thing called "the radio".
