You don't change one of the best defences in European away to PSG. Defence was all over the shop in first half. Gomez at sea at RB and Lovren all over shop. We've been solid as anything at back, why change it? Make a no sense.

We were beaten again because we haven't been good enough in terms of quality consistently enough this season and the better teams will beat you. It's simple really.

When I look at those last 3 away games and compare this to the CL final, I can't see us having progressed that much at all since then.

Quality is a bit of a catch all. What we were lacking tonight was pace. Second to loose balls and the midfield couldn't keep up when they broke through. Midfield is painfully slow. And even salah looks slow at the moment.

Definitely in midfield that's for sure. But we spent 100m there and we look arguably worst so far this season. Only player that can link to forward line has got limited game time. I don't get it.

We spent £100m on CMs and they don't play. Yet Henderson does. Weird.

Shaqiri should've come on much earlier, or started. Gomez should have stayed at CB and Trent could have given us some much needed attacking threat down the right. Much of our play was through Robertson, because Gomez is a centre half

Gomez at right back made complete sense with the pace of Mbappe and Neymar. PSG had a lot of quality and we couldn't cope at times.

I'm much more frustated at losing away to Belgrade and Napoli, which should not have left us in that position.

Henderson didn't exactly rip it up tonight. I am actually happy he is suspended for Sunday.
