Im not sold on Gerrard. Perhaps he will be a great manager, but I think he needs to prove that first. I have not watched Rangers, so I have no clue as to how he sets his teams out tactically, or even if he favours a certain style, or if he is being pragmatic based upon the players he has available.

I guess Klopp has made it academic, as there is no rush or time limit that Gerrard perhaps felt during his playing career. I do think FSG have learnt lessons in terms of planning for the future.. . We dont seem to make the sane mistakes over and over.

My bet would be Lijnders in three years. It'll be interesting to see how much limelight he gets over the next few years. I could see him doing cup pressers, etc. next year.
