Wonder what Klopp would have made of that?

Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

"The numbers aren't for us" or something like that. But we'd take him otherwise!

                          Yeah

Interesting if messi goes to city, he will score loads and be unplayable at times but then they already score insane amount of goals. Not sure he alone will help them leak less goals at the other end.

I just want fans back asap as I think klopp and the team feed off them more so than the likes of city and utd.

This is so true. I think we could be affected by a lack of fans more so than others.

In the champions league yes but our away form is so good in the league you could argue we don't need it as much as we might think.

Going to be interesting to see how city's confidence holds up this year. I think they're starting from a very vulnerable posittion.

I honestly don't think he'd make them any better. He's a better player than anyone they've got without a doubt but he'd need time to adjust and as you say, he's not going to fix their defensive issues. I think what they already have up front is more than fine.

But he seems like a disruptive snidey fck behind the scenes who feels like his word is the word of god or else. It's hardly surprising, being the best in the entire world at what you do for a decade would have to get in your head.

For that reason I wouldn't want him here regardless of price.

We don't want the best players in the world. We want the best team in the world. As much as he's the former I don't think he's part of the latter.

If he really wanted to give himself a challenge and make an impact he should drop his wage demands (surely he doesn't need anymore money?) and go to somewhere he can actually build things. Sheff United would build a team around him and have the funds to get some ambition off the back of last years success.

If you don't want immediate trophies or massive wages IMO they're the club of choice, they will keep growing.
