He had to wear NB trainers under the terms of the club’s kit deal with them.
Nike didn’t include any footwear terms for staff, so Jurgen was free to sign his own deal with whoever offered.

Garbage footwear. Used to wear them in highschool back in the early 90s because they were the in thing. Every few years when I go to buy some new shoes I always try on a bunch and the nikes time and time again are rubbish. Mizuno runners my choice of shoes at the moment. They are godly.

Nike footwear is crap, always seems to be funny sizing and poor materials. Adidas far superior and a better fit. Mind you, my parents were skint so as a kid I grew up wearing 'Woolworth's four stripe'... you couldn't even scratch those ****ers. Bombproof.

Woolworths four stripe? - Luxury. We had to wear pieces of cut up car tyres cable tied to our feet.

I find nike a bit wider on the foot. I wear their cheapish running shoes just generally. Last pair lasted about 9 months of continuous use before the soles wore down. Not too bad for £65.

My feet are crap and blister in about 30 paces if anything rubs. Adidas are especially awful for me.
