The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think it's a scene from back to the future. Marty Mcfly far right, and then sturidge and possibly oxlaide if I really squint.

Mahomes needs to change his first name to Pogue.

Klopp clearly hates him and will set fire to his wheelie bin with his cat in it

I remember Tomkins mentioned in tbhe Summer something about edwards returning, not knowing anything about the circumstances (I think they had contact previously based on their love of stats).

I wonder if FSG have known for a while, and had their man in waiting. Im also wondering if Alonso wasnt that guy, but may have changed their thinking since (maybe de zerbi was the guy during the summer)

I don't think the club or even Klopp himself had any idea in the summer that this would be his last season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Is there a possibility that FSG tried to force edwards return, Jurgen didn't like it, and subsequently said "fock this, i'm ****in walkin"

Not sure we will ever know because i think jurgen would keep quiet if that was the case. But if Klopp rocks up at another club in a few months (like he did with us after he left dortmund) then our fans will quite rightly question did he just need a break.

What was the beef between Jurgen and Edwards anyway??? I remember that there was some talk about jurgen wanting Julian Brandt instead of Salah but surely Jurgen would say "thanks Mike" for that!!!

As I recall it, it wasn't so much about players Klopp wanted to sign but more players he wanted to keep whereas the quants were saying - nah. Some wins some losses, certainly Hendo left far after his time was up.
                      Really?

If Hendo was sat this year and next on his 10m a year, then we probably wouldn't have been able to bring in Endo and maybe wouldn't have had the wage structure flexibility for the likes of Szoboaslai and possibly MacAllister too. If Fabinho was too, then we'd certainly be a few places lower in the league.

                        Thank **** for the Saudis!!!

I suppose the flip side of that is perhaps virgil would have been sold last summer too if edwards was around

Na, Edwards doesn’t compulsively just want to sell every player once they’re over 30. The over 30s Edwards wanted to shift were players who were on the decline or because we had a concentration of aging players in the same position. Not the case with Virgil at all.

Bve is still the bezt defender in the world, inho. Unless his pace drops off massively, I dont see a problem. Depends how high the line will be under a new manager. Plenty of great centrebacks who were never blessed with afterburners.

VVD hardly slides in because he gets his positioning right, so I think he can adapt his game easily.

Their first album was brilliant, sadly things got a bit loose on the follow up.
