I've always had my doubts about Gerrard being manager material. Even more so now. I don't like his managerial style/personality. He reminds me of Souness.

It's actually depressing trying to think of who could even come close to replacing Klopp. No one remotely measures up.

As for Klopp himself I honestly don't know where he'd go anyway? I'd be surprised if he touched a Barca or a Madrid or a Bayern. He's not Mourinho/Pep. He doesn't want it handed to him on a plate. I could see him, in the right circumstances, trying to wake another sleeping giant. Someone like AC Milan?

Other than that there's the German national team job but he's a bit young for that surely?

The day will come when he goes, I always had my doubts about Gerrard, but he is learning his ropes and let's see how he does in Scotland, IF he keeps improving there he could very well be a good option for succeeding Klopp, he was a great captain, played in finals and is now coaching limited players, I think if he surrounds himself with a great team, and we otherwise keep our structure, he could be a good manager for us.

after watching the Pep interview for the Carabao cup i think he has a great chance to step up if Klopp leaves.

I think he'll go to the German national team after us, unless he learns Italian, because I did think of AC Milan, but whether he has the interest after us, well, who knows.

I'm not sure if FSG would go with Pep Ljinders either. There's also the fact that he's cleaved himself to Klopp, so he may follow him. You could see them being hard for Nagelsmann, but he wants to manage Bayern. A long way off, but it wouldn't surprise me if we appointed Ancelotti after Klopp, just for a couple of seasons to ease the transition.
