    options options.......great ****in options!!!

I think Mane might make it. Maybe Klopp is throwing him a bone and seeing if he works his bollox off, patches himself up, take an injection, and makes the team.

Whatever the team, we will be on a high after beating the Arse........we are gonna stuff the Burnley ****e.....

I really don't think it's worth getting patched up for the second game of the season, especially with so many options.

To be honest I am hoping we will see less of this, we have had injury problems with various players for a while and the patch up approach really doesn't help.

As Klopp seems fairly big on ensuring people are training regularly before they play (e.g. Sturridge) surely it would be fairly hypocritical to patch Mane up, when we have alternatives.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think Origi will get the start & possibly Markovic takes the bench spot if Sturridge isn't ready yet.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Have I missed something? As far as I can tell Sturridge has been in full training since Friday of last week so why wouldn't he be ready?

I think the same 11 as last week but with Sturridge as a swap for Mane.

He's not one to be rushed is our Daniel. And I've liked what I've seen of Origi in his limited PS.

He's played one game for us and today I was thinking how much we missed him. Without him we have next to no pace in our attack. Firmino is slow as ****, Sturridge can't run and Phil is Phil. With this 4-3-3 I'd rather see Coutinho, as many of us have said plenty of times, dropped back to the most advanced of the middle 3, with Mane right and whoever else in the other positions.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Today I'd have liked to have seen Origi on with Sturridge at least then there would have been some pace in the side.

Starting slowly like we've done in both games can't continue as we won't always be able to produce the football we did against Arsenal as proven today.

Pace in this league is so important it really is when we don't have this lad playing we need to find someone else to offer that acceleration in the final third

Tempo is also important, whether we have pacy players in the side or not we need to move the ball quickly and drag defenders about, I never understand why we play a slow tempo against teams that are all about organisation, all you do is give them time to get back into position and make things difficult for ourselves. Pace helps but it's not the only way to do things, our play today was pedestrian and this was the case for much of last week (aside from the first 20mins of the 2nd half).

Tempo wasn't particularly slow. We just couldn't penetrate Burnley and offer any threat inside their penalty area. A few times we could have tried to combine in promising situations but chose the wrong option and shot instead.
                      Are we winning?

Really, I thought we were just playing at walking pace most of the game.

It's like they'd all suffered from gastro the night before
