playing two wingers with no like for like replacement seemed a bit daft, we either pull bobby wide, or push coutinho up, 1 injury/rest/suspension shouldn't led to having to pull the team around

As soon as he gets back or is close to it’ll be someone else’s turn, I’m guessing Salah or Coutinho. We seem destined to never field a full team! We got all excited about our first choice attack last season and they hardly got on the pitch together! I know everyone gets injuries but it’d be boss if we could field our strongest 11 for a game or two this season.

I didn't mean that Coutinho is carrying us alone, but just that much more is on him now that Mané is injured because he's been our best player this season offensively.

I meant that far more is on Coutinho now that Mané is injured, he took a lot of the responsibility of creating and scoring goals. It's not like Mané or Coutinho alone carries the team, but in terms of being involved in goals there is far more on Coutinho now.

I think on form and even history Countino is our best player. Like most attacking players he can be a bit inconsistent but he's largely improved that over the last few years and would benefit even more from better players around him.

Hugely underrated by our fanbase for some bizarre reason. No doubt history will be rewritten after he leaves us and is tearing up La Liga.
