That hat trick could be huge for us in the run in. He is unplayable on his day and that surely is a massive boost for his confidence.

His second goal. I loved the way Mane adjusted his last couple of strides to place himself perfectly in relation to the ball before firing it in the old onion bag

Bloody Hendo let the team down again!!

As for Sadio maybe all he needed was a bit of luck to get his confidence going & the way he finished for the third I reckon he's got it back.

His performances over the past month have been exceptional, and I think that's partly down to Robertson also being extraordinary in his dominance of the left flank. This has allowed Mane to play more centrally, and cause havoc.

I loved his performance against the Mancs away, and even Klopp credited him on it, but he was criticised by our fans for being wasteful, rather than remembering how he was pivotal in everything we tried to do that day. His movement and penetration were brilliant, and he's only getting better.

Salah is getting all the plaudits at the moment, but Mane will soon be noticed by the top brass if he carries on like this.

I've never been a fan of the inverted wingers thing we initiallly had, with Salah and Mane, but their movement on the pitch has altered what we started with, and we've now got a very good style of play.

Mane went through a bad patch but he really has kicked in now, unplayable on his day he is. This is type of thing we need, if Salah doesn't play well Firmino will, if Firmino doesn't play well Mane will etc.

I was just thinking of him. Definitely getting better as he gets used to Salah nicking his position. And like you say, Robertson helping out. Him, Firmino and Salah are the the three worst players City defenders would want to face in world football right now (barring Messi).

Mane is getting into great positions and has found his goalscoring touch. That offside headed finish and the goal that stood were both simple yet beautiful for showing his technique and ability to get into the right positions.

grafting hard in midfield, often chasing and winning the ball back to initiate attacks.

imagine just how good we'd be if we also had some midfielders...

Was our best player against Palace. My Spurs supporting friend messaged me (during the Palace game) and said "Mane could play for any team in the world".
                                Another MASSIVE game
