Thought he made a difference and always does when he's on the pitch even when it seems he may not be doing a great deal. He's at very least a very different option to our other players in the position. Needs to stay fit so he can get a run of games. Recall Lijnders saying how important he is in the build up phase and I don't at all dispute that.

He immediately took control of our passing game and it was snappier, up until then it was slow and laboured. We need to find out what Naby is all about. I think he will start midweek. We paid a hell of a lot of money for him and it is about time we seen exactly why.

Let's see if he can stay fit and avoid bookings. If he can then I'm happy to see if that works

Loved his attitude when he came on. He looked so up for it. Really high energy, demanded the ball, moved it around really smartly and quickly. He helped us up the tempo. Thought he looked exceptional.

          Hope he starts on Wednesday.

Imo he should have started with Fab and Gini

Gini looked excellent in first half - a real goal threat. But he and Hendo played twice for their countries and ran out of steam. We need to start trusting Ox and Naby to freshen things up - even against the best teams.

It's easy (relatively speaking) to come on against a tiring side and look the business, but hopefully it's a sign of things to come and he'll soon be thriving in his role.

i would like to see him get another cameo against Genk and then perhaps start v Tottenham

In hindsight, I wonder would we have been better starting Naby instead of Origi - maybe on the left of the front 3.

I don’t think he’s ever played LF in his career.

I’d rather see him get 10-15 mins in his preferred position, making a positive impact like he did yesterday than ask him to fill a shirt elsewhere.

It would be interesting to see replacing Bobby with a few cameos

I think that now some of the attack minded midfielders are starting to get back to fitness and/or return to form we might start seeing the midfield get changed up a bit more. The Fabinho, Wijnaldum and Henderson 3 is fine for bigger games or away games where we might want to keep it tight, but I imagine in home games against some of the so called lesser sides who are likely to park the bus a more dynamic attacking player would be useful.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

This is what i thought made a big difference for us , Hendo and Gini being leggy from international matches.

Surely a freshen up is needed now we are 3 months in and the games are coming thick and fast

Good stat this. Thought he was good tonight without being spectacular, he's nice and progressive and is only gonna get better.

I do think it's one of him or Ox v the better teams though.

think it will end up being Fab, Gini and one of AOC/Keita soon enough
