I'd only want Suarez back. I don't care if he's 32 and declining. He'd still be bloody awesome.

I'd take either back, they're both top players but surely you can't criticise Coutinho for 'kicking up a stink in the dressing room' without criticising Suarez for doing the same, in a more destructive fashion and arguably twice.Originally posted by Norbs View Post100%Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

Doubt klopp would have them as he wants lads with the right frame of mind and no big time ******s who are more important that the team.Originally posted by Corndog View PostI'd take either back, they're both top players but surely you can't criticise Coutinho for 'kicking up a stink in the dressing room' without criticising Suarez for doing the same, in a more destructive fashion and arguably twice.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Yeah I can. One went on strike/bad back, the other tried his damnedest to win us the league.Originally posted by Corndog View PostI'd take either back, they're both top players but surely you can't criticise Coutinho for 'kicking up a stink in the dressing room' without criticising Suarez for doing the same, in a more destructive fashion and arguably twice.

Eh....not ****ing chance.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostIf there's any possibility the club could bring him back, they should do it.
Anyone who refuses to play for us can get ****ed for eternity. Irrespective of how good they are / were.
Mascharano is in the same boat. Never understood the love for him after he refused to play for us and forced his way out the club.

It's not so black and white though is it? He did feign back injury (allegedly) to force a move but when he came back and played, the Fab 4 happened. We don't know the pressure he was under from Barca/family at the time. He certainly seemed conflicted.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostEh....not ****ing chance.

If he did agree to come back, wouldn't any previous vitriol be bygone? Would you not be willing to forgive him? I think it's something that could work for everyone involved. Only issue would be the family and whether they would back.

Unique circumstances. Torres explained it quite well in an interview a while back. Everyone was leaving, promises made were broken. Konchesky and Woy should say more than enough. I blame the club for those, not the players.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostEh....not ****ing chance.

Coutinho is a bit different, but would want him back at a cut price deal if available. The squad would undoubtedly be better with him in it than not.

Unless the club were witholding his wages then there was no justification.Originally posted by Zapater View PostUnique circumstances. Torres explained it quite well in an interview a while back. The situation with the club back then was chaotic agreed.
Irrespective it's unforgivable to take money from the club and then refuse to play.

We won the CL and Gerrard put a transfer request to goto Chelsea of all places. I know he did a U-turn but I don't see any real difference between to the two situations. History could have turned out very differently. Wouldn't have been forgiven if it were any other player.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostUnless the club were witholding his wages then there was no justification.
