Yeah. He's still a brilliant player and he was great for us. Especially if we really can't spend now, this loan with obligatory buy-out next year would make sense.

I reckon this could be a final day special. Barca desperate to **** him off and i reckon he's desperate to come back.

Take him on loan with the option to buy for a massive loss for those Catalan *******s

I'd only take him back if it was a loan deal. **** spending anything on a transfer fee.

Maybe we should try to loan him on Italian club terms, an agreement of a fee at the end but no obligation to buy and then try to screw them over on the fee because he has less time left on his contract
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

That's precisely what I want us to do

BBC Gossip talking about a £27m loan deal with Arsenal now... the last thing they need is more attacking options... they need a decent CB pairing.

If he goes there, so much for 'not going to any other PL team'...

TBF he did specify one of our rivals.

                          Why?

I wouldn't mind seeing an attack of...

                          Pepe Laca Auba
                          Couthino Ceballos

Their defence is still dirt so they won't challenge us, but they'll be entertaining to watch.

They'll never pay his wages while he's on loan.

I'm sure they're after a CB but I doubt they have any chance of getting Phil too.

Looks like they're going to try and do an 'us'. Attack, score more than the opposition, and sort the defence out another time.
