He played for us for 5 years and won nothing.

In May be will probably have at least one medal with Barcelona after 5 months.

Can't really blame him for not wanting to wait until the summer to be honest.

Good Luck to him ... he's Brazilain and Barca want him in their first 11 ... thats hard to say no to, shame it could not happen at the end of the season but hey ho the world continues to turn. I am not going to start hating a player who only ever gave everything for the shirt. YNWA

The faking injury thing leaves a sour taste but this might have been a club led thing.

Good luck to the lad, he deserves the opportunity.

        I hope he's **** though!

We shop at Southampton. Barcelona shop at Liverpool.
            Another MASSIVE game

I hunk he will absolutely smash it at Barca, these 6 months were he has most likely been minding himself have yielded a goal or assist every game. At Barca with better players and fully committed I reckon he’ll go on and fulfill his potential - 20g + 20a a year for me at a minimum for him going forward.

Hate how it ended but as many have said a lot can happen in 6 months, he dug in and the club wilted. The most annoying thing is that we seem to be prepared to gamble on Lallana who has has one good 3 month spell in his time here and that was only 60% of what Coutinho did from a numbers perspective.

I trust Klopp but this is a massive gamble to our chances this season.

Klopp has lost big players before and just got stronger ... usually another player emerges ... I think that player is Lallana .. I honestly think if he can stay injury free he could be knocking on the door of world-class ... his movement off the ball is the best I have ever seen, impossible to mark when he is on it and running games

Aye, and playing time it's only four and a half months left with us

I like Lallana but he has had genuinely only a three month spell (start of last season) in his Liverpool career to suggest that he can get remotely close to Phil's level. If we are expecting him to replace Phil's output then we'll struggle, he is also coming back from a long injury lay off so no guarantee he will get back to that level.

Personally I don't think we replace him like for like but say we bought a top GK (Alisson) CB (VVD), midfielder (Baby K) and forward (Lemar) with the money then we will have strengthened the team overall IMO.
