I think their current squad would be mid-table in the Premier League. So average.

Yeah they had Fati, Pedri and Dembele and a couple of others injured but even so they have such an average squad now when you look through it. You could argue there are 6/7 better squads in the Premier League currently.

Real also look so poor. La Liga is ****ed.

I still can't believe they have Luuk de Jong leading the line. Gladbach and Newcastle flop who hasn't hit double figures in the league out of the Netherlands. Koeman may have had a good spell at Southampton but he's a proper **** coach. If he wasn't a great player no one would have given him a job.

Braithwaite and Luuk De Jong, honestly, there must be better alternatives just from their youth squad?

Of course, he has links from his time at Barca too.

I had that Bayern game on last week. I was wondering why Koeman was playing Frenkie de Jong up front. I wasn't really paying attention so i just assumed that it was a result of them thin with injuries.

It was only when Chris Sutton said they were something or other because they're playing a carthorse up front. I thought that was a bit harsh on a gifted youngster playing out of position. It was only when i paid attention that i realised they signed a Newcastle reject.

I did think Frenkie had put a bit of weight on tbf.

Koeman said it'd be a few years before they are competing financially again... i think it'll be much longer than that!

                          From the bbc gossip...
Newcastle United's new Saudi owners plan to look to Germany in an attempt to mirror the success of Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel in England. Chelsea's Germany striker Timo Werner, 25, is a top target, along with Bayern Munich and Germany centre-back Niklas Sule, 26, Barcelona's Brazilian midfield flop Philippe Coutinho, 29. removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Anyone see Stevies interview yesterday, he was trying to act like he'd give nothing away on the potential transfer but in doing so basically gave it away
