He has the attitude of a title winner too. Same as Van Dijk and Alison. Never looks anything other than calm, composed and in control. We have a great spine in the team at the moment.

Best DCM since Mascherano. And i think he's better. Mascherano was great at running alongside and pinching the ball but he never had the incredible ability to stick a leg out and cleanly win a ball without the attacking player even knowing what just happened. Those long legs are something else.

I agree, and he has height and playmaking ability as well, fantastic and a snip at whatever we paid for him

He's playing much better now but he's not even close to being deemed better than Mascherano. There's also no shame in that because Mascherano is alongside the likes of Makelele as one of the best DMs of the past few decades.

Fabinho has a much wider range of passing and seems more accurate than Mascherano was at the same stage of his career though.

Fab has a way to go to be considered better than Masch. Two totally different players anyway so awkward to compare. Masch was a destroyer whereas Fabinho has more class. Appreciate them both for what they are I suppose. Been a fantastic signing so far anyways even with the slow start. If he had of started the season imo people would be talking about him in the same breath as Fernandinho who imo his style is more comparable.

Cannot believe the progress he has made this season. When he first started playing for us I was skeptical, but wow he has been good.
Klopp has handled him brilliantly and he'll be even better next season.

I'll always have a soft spot for him, just because we announced him a couple of days after the Champions League Final. It was completely out of the blue, and I was over that game pretty much.
